Founded in the 1994, the International Interior
Design Association (IIDA) is the premiere
professional networking and educational association
serving interior designers, design students, and
related industry professionals. IIDA is committed
to enhancing the quality of life through excellence
in interior design and advancing interior design
through knowledge. IIDA serves members involved in
all aspects of commercial and residential interior
design, with a special focus on specialty areas
such as hospitality, facility planning, health,
retail, education, government and sustainable
design.
The main goals of IIDA are to be advocates for
design excellence, nurture a global interior design
community, maintain educational standards, respond
to trends in business and design, provide superior
information about interior design and related issues,
