About the organization:
The Chemical Institute of Canada is an umbrella organization for three Constituent Societies: the Canadian Society for Chemistry (CSC), the Canadian Society for Chemical Engineering (CSChE) and the Canadian Society for Chemical Technology (CSCT). The purpose of the Institute is to promote common scientific and technical interests and to provide service to all its members.
Individual chemists, chemical engineers and chemical technologists who join one of the Constituent Societies are automatically members of the CIC.
The Institute publishes the technical news magazine Canadian Chemical News ten times per year.
