The American Psychiatric Nurses Association (APNA) is a membership organization for Registered Nurses educationally prepared at all levels---basic, advanced and doctoral ---who work in the specialty area of Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing (PMHN). APNA is a non-profit organization with its national office located in Arlington Virginia, just outside of Washington DC. APNA is the largest psychiatric-mental health nursing membership organization in this country.
